These terms cover the campustip.com website only and are separate from our agreements with schools. Schools and institutions that subscribe to CampusTip do so under their own agreement or order form, which governs the service and the data in it.

About these terms

This website is operated by CampusTip (“we”, “us”). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Our website privacy policy explains how we handle personal data you share with us here.

The CampusTip service

These terms do not give you a right to use the CampusTip service itself. Access to the service, its features, service levels, fees and the handling of school data are governed only by the agreement or order form signed between CampusTip and each institution. If anything on this website conflicts with that agreement, the agreement applies.

Website content and demos

The information on this website, including feature descriptions, pricing information and screenshots, is provided for general information about CampusTip. It may change at any time and is not an offer or a commitment; what we provide to an institution is set out in its agreement.

Screenshots and demo videos are illustrative. They were recorded from a demonstration version of the product using fictional sample data: the names, schools, students, routes and figures shown are made up, and any resemblance to real people or institutions is coincidental. Features, layouts and availability can differ by country, plan and configuration.

Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, graphics, videos, logos and the CampusTip name, belong to CampusTip or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the website and share links to it, and you may download or print pages for your own use or to evaluate CampusTip for your institution. You may not otherwise copy, modify, republish or commercially use the content without our written permission. Map data that appears in our screenshots and videos is credited to its sources (OpenStreetMap contributors and the Overture Maps Foundation) and is used under their licences.

Acceptable use

When using this website, you agree not to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our servers or any connected system, or test their security without our written permission;
  • interfere with or disrupt the website, for example by overloading it, or introduce malware;
  • use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or personal data from the website;
  • submit false, misleading or someone else's details through our forms, or use them to send spam; or
  • use the website or its content to build a competing product.

We may block access to the website for anyone who breaks these rules. If you think you have found a security issue, please tell us at sales@campustip.com instead of testing it further.

What you send us

When you use the request-a-demo form, please give accurate details and only your own. We use them as described in our website privacy policy. Do not send us student records or other sensitive personal data through the form.

This website may link to websites run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the site.

No warranty

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, that the website or its content is accurate, complete, up to date, uninterrupted or free of errors or viruses, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CampusTip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its content, even if we were told such loss was possible. You use the website at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud. Our liability to institutions that use the CampusTip service is governed only by their agreement with us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply to that use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction to be confirmed], and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
